Your Wish Is My Order - African lion safari (Waterloo)

African Lion Safari - some amazing shots
  #wildlife #wildlifephotography #travel #travelphotography #lifestyle #africansafari #waterloo

When you begin to feel you are the strongest of all and one fine day have chills run down your spine when you   encounter a  majestic pair of cats glare at you through their piercing eyes.

yourwishismyorder-africanlionsafariwaterloo-alkanarula.jpg
And suddenly you realise your each move is under the surveillance " Your Majesty is watching you but with a bored expression on his face
yourwishismyorder-africanlionsafariwaterloo-alkanarula.jpg
And  the other cats you are surrounded by
yourwishismyorder-africanlionsafariwaterloo-alkanarula.jpg
And you begin to wonder what if they were not feeling too lazy and  come around to attack you
yourwishismyorder-africanlionsafariwaterloo-alkanarula.jpg
And you sigh with relief as they turn their face away out of disinterest
yourwishismyorder-africanlionsafariwaterloo-alkanarula.jpg
You thank your stars for the urbanisation and living in a community ,  you slowly murmur to yourself "Had I been exposed to any one of them without the security shield I have around me I would have simply " said " "Your wish is my order "

"Pari Mahal " - " Fairies Abode " Srinagar , Jammu and Kashmir (pictures/images)

"Pari Mhahal " also known as" Fairies Abode" is situated on a hill top of Zabarwan Mountain range in Srinagar , Jammu and Kashmir. Pari Mahal  was built by Dara Shikoh the eldest son of Emperor Shah Jahan and was used as an observatory to study astronomy .Pari Mahal , a seven terrace garden ,overlooking the Dal Lake and The Royal Spring  Golf Course in Srinagar  is an amazing splendour of Mughal Arcitecture. The name Pari meaning Fairy always intrigued me until my recent visit that gave a new dimension to my thought process or I should rather say left me wonder weather Pari Mahal/Fairies Abode was visited in the past by extra terrestrials in the past ? To read more on this please visit http://alkanarula.hubpages.com and do share your thoughts :))

Pahalgam - Views from my hotel window

Pahalgam one of my favourite destinations is a world famous hill station and quite popular among tourists visiting Jammu &Kashmir , located on the banks of Lidder River at an altitude of 7200 ft. from sea level.Pahalgam is also associated with the annual Amarnath Yatra. Chandanwari (2,895 m), 16 km from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the Yatra that takes place every year in the month of July / August. Surrounded by snow clad mountains , gushing blue water of Lidder River makes it uniqueness of its own. Here are some descriptive views from my hotel window. The pictures  may appear a little hazy as they were taken from inside the window but I managed to capture some beautiful moments .

While I was enjoying  a view of Lidder River From My Window

And My Friends Were Waiting For Me

I Took A Notice Of The Monkeys Who Had Thronged The Place

And This One Outside My Window Was Eyeing The Butter Toast On My Table

Oh Boy , How Could I not Feed Him After The Eye Contact He Had With Me?

On Being Asked To Come Around The Other Window He Came And Waited Patiently For A Bite

                                                         What Surprised Me The Most

He scraped The Hard Dark Brown Edges Of The Toast Before Gulping Them Down - Intelligent Breed , Huh

Ganga The River Ganges

Ganga ,The River Ganges has several tales abandoned in her , probably each granule of sand in the river bed has something that remains undiscovered . Acoording to Hindu mythology since Ganga had descended from heaven to earth, she is also the vehicle of ascent, from earth to heaven. As the Triloka-patha-gamini, (Skt. triloka= "three worlds",patha = "road", gamini = "one who travels") of the Hindu tradition, she flows in heaven, earth, and the netherworld (as explained below ), and, consequently, is a "tirtha," or crossing point of all beings, the living as well as the dead. It is for this reason that the story of theavatarana is told at Shraddha ceremonies for the deceased in Hinduism, and Ganges water is used in Vedic rituals after death. #GANGA  #THERIVERganges

This photo was taken by the AbdulMoeed Faruqi , the known photo journalist who took this beautiful shot in Kanuj and I am privileged one who got the opportunity to share it with my readers.

In Hindu cosmology, Patala or Patal (Sanskrit: पाताल, Pātāla) denotes the seven lower regions of the universe - which are located under the earth. Patala is often translated as underworld or netherworld. Patala is composed of seven regions or lokas, the seventh and lowest of them is also called Patala or Naga-loka, the region of the Nagas. TheDanavas (demon sons of Danu), Daityas (demon sons of Diti), Yakshas and the snake-people Nagas live in the realms of Patala. According to Hindu cosmology, the universe is divided into the three worlds: Svarga (Heaven: six upper regions), Prithvi (earth) and Patala (the seven lower regions)- the underworld and netherworld.(wikipedia)

Colours of Haiffa Ocean

Dave Barry is right in saying “There's nothing wrong with enjoying looking at the surface of the ocean itself, except that when you finally see what goes on underwater, you realize that you've been missing the whole point of the ocean. Staying on the surface all the time is like going to the circus and staring at the outside of the tent.” But one can enjoy the vivid colours of #Haiffa  #Ocean from the surface in these pictures.
“The sea is emotion incarnate. It loves, hates, and weeps. It defies all attempts to capture it with words and rejects all shackles. No matter what you say about it, there is always that which you can't.”

― Christopher Paolini, Eragon
